Pre Drilling:

ü  Regional prospect evaluation for geopressure analysis

ü  Design the prospect geological building blocks for the targeted prospect

ü  QC of Seismic and offset data and their qualification for pore – fracture pressure prediction on the first wildcat

ü Build the geopressure prediction model and it’s unique variables

ü Assign the casing and mud weight programs in psi and ppgmwe.

ü Foresee the seals integrity and pressure transgression vs. regression in the targeted prospective structural segment.

ü  Calculate the expected hydrocarbon columns and their impact on the drilling program

ü  Predict the drilling challenges along the proposed bore-hole trajectory

During Drilling:

ü  Calibration and validation of the prediction model

ü  Calculate the excess pressure between seals and reservoirs

ü  PP-FP prediction Ahead of the drilling bit

Post Drilling:

ü  Assessment of success or failure of the first wildcat

ü Appraisal of vertical and lateral seals and exploration potential in the offset prospective structural segments

ü  Calculating of hydrocarbon potential (height and lateral limits) in the overall prospect

ü Lessons learned and the validity of the geopressure model for future predictions.
